Food, sell timing, and Cash

Placed ants make food boxes, Sell turns boxes into Cash, and the moving sell rate can cut a stockpile you dump at the wrong time.

Cash exists only after food is sold. A full collection station with no trip to Sell is not income.

One sell cycle

  1. Confirm at least one ant is placed. Inventory ants do not work.
  2. Let that ant produce boxes at the collection station.
  3. Press E and carry the boxes to Sell.
  4. Check the Sell Multiplier before you dump a large stockpile. Guides describe the merchant rate as something that moves, including poor rates written as 0.x.
  5. Spend only the surplus. Leave enough to buy the next Queen offer.

Food Gain and ant levels raise how much comes back. Ant Speed and Speed Jelly raise how many trips fit in a session. Food value raises Cash per box. A mutation multiplies the ant you put it on. These stack only when they apply to ants that are actually placed.

How to spend a 15-minute Cash code

Redeem 9hcb2s only after the tutorial, and only if the game still accepts it. Then:

  1. Make sure slots are filled with the best ants you can already afford.
  2. Sell continuously. Do not open the mount trainer or stand in the shop reading Starlight's price.
  3. Buy Egg Luck, Egg Rolls, or the next food-income level between trips.
  4. Stop when the timer ends. The boost does not bank itself for later.

wnixh2 is reported as 100 Star Coins, not a Cash timer. Do not plan a sell session around that reward. What Star Coins buy was not given a full menu in the pages used here.

Robux shortcuts that change selling

These are one-time Robux products reported on October 5, 2026, not Cash-board prices:

Product Reported price Reported effect
Auto Sell R$299 Sells food for you and can be turned off
Fixed Price R$799 Food always sells at 2.5 times
3x Offline Rewards R$99 Triple rewards for time away
Medium Food Pack R$29 About 20 minutes of the food your ants collect
Large Food Pack R$99 About 80 minutes of that food

The Large pack is described as about four times the food of the Medium pack for about 3.4 times the price. Prices can change. None of these replace Egg Luck.

There is no published Cash-per-minute rate. Time your own trip and put that number into upgrade payback.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you actually do in Build An Ant Empire?

Roll an offer at the Ant Queen, buy the ant with Cash, place it in a nest slot, collect the food boxes it produces, sell those boxes for Cash, then spend Cash on egg luck, egg rolls, food income, slots, and later mutations.

How do codes work?

Finish the short tutorial, click the gear icon at the top-right, open Settings, paste one code, and press Redeem. wnixh2 is listed for 100 Star Coins. 9hcb2s is a 15-minute Cash boost that an earlier page said would expire on October 9, 2026, even though later lists still showed it as active.

What should a new colony buy first?

Buy Egg Luck and Egg Rolls first while you keep enough Cash to purchase a strong offer. Then raise food income and add slots when you have ants worth placing. Buy Ant Speed when trips, not ant quality, are the bottleneck.

Which mutation is the strongest?

Starlight is the strongest listed mutation at 5x EFF and a cash price of $5.1Qi. Petal is 3x at $500T. Put those on ants you will keep. Leaf at 1.35x and $1M is only a first mutate for a keeper, not for a Common you plan to replace.

Do pets replace worker ants?

No. Pets come from Pet Eggs bought with Dungeon Pet Coins. They are companions with their own bonuses. Worker ants still produce food, and mount training is a third system that removes the ant you submit.

Are there gamepasses?

An October 5, 2026 catalog of the Roblox shop says there are no gamepasses and that the listed products are one-time buys. Cash prices in the center item shop are a separate list from those Robux prices.
